Which nora roberts character are you

May 08, AM. Who is your favorite Nora hero and why? One of my favorites was Cam Rafferty from Divine Evil. He is a bad boy turned good cop. I just loved his personality, and how he was with the the heroine. May 09, AM. I loved Declan from Midnigt Bayou Kim I liked Cam from DE too I am going to have to read Divine Evil. Sounds like my type of man. I just really liked his attitude and I loved his reaction to the house when they were remodeling.

Another huge winner for me is Luke from Honest Illusions. He oozed sexy. I couldn't get enough of him! May 09, PM. Oh yeah I loved Luke too! He was pretty hot! Isis- It sounds like you and I have the same taste in heroes. May 10, AM. My all time fav is Cameron Quinn!

There are others I just can't think right now. I just checked my pile of books and I have Divine Evil in there. I think I am going to add it to my list of June reads. I could use a good hero to make me smile! May 10, PM. May 11, PM. This is one I have to think on!

Give me a few days Jul 10, AM. Too many to name, lol. Let us see Rogan Sweeny from Born in Fire. It's tied between Rafe and Devan Mackade Oh, this is making me want to read. Jul 11, AM. I have to agree with Jess: Any of the men from the Gallagher's series keep popping in my mind when I think of my favorite heroes.

Jul 12, AM. I really love Roarke JD Robb these days I will have to agree with Amar; Roarke is the one. He's strong yet understands; Out of all her male characters he's the only one that has the ability that when a strong female goes over the line, Eve he has the nerve to tell her that she's over the line and when Eve slaps at him emotionally, he slaps figurativly back.

It helps too that in his charater description; he's a dream! Ditto Sherry! Also helps that we've know for a gazzillion books now :- not fair that the other heroes are only one or two books!

Jul 15, PM. When he knows Nell is running from something in her past, he does not pry into it He has an honor about him that makes him an admirable person. Sep 20, AM. Isis FG wrote: "So hard to choose There was something so very sexy about him. That is a great book that I just stumbled upon one day at a yard sale!

She was funny, and insecure yet outgoing and I thought she was really good with Harper. May 09, AM. So far my favorite is Tate from The Reef. I thought there was something really endearing about her strong exterior yet innocent thinking. She was so stubborn that I couldn't help but identify with her! May 09, PM. May 10, PM. She was also quite funny in her absentmindedness. May 11, AM. I forgot about Nell from Dance Upon Air! That was my fav in that series.

I liked her a lot! May 14, PM. One of my favorites is From Hidden Riches. May 26, AM. I liked her a lot, she didn't take any lip! Of course she needed that kind of attitude taking on Cam.

Jun 03, AM. I loved Stella from Blue Dahlia. Her story was sad at the beginning when she lost her HB in that plane crash, but she got through it, and took care of her boys at the same time.

She was a very strong character. The fact that she never gave up, and kept going everyday, and found a man to love her in spite of her OCD and her quirks was the best. Jun 14, PM. Oh, I loved so many. Deanna went through rape, a friend's betrayal and a stalker, yet she acomplished her dreams and stayed true to herself while doing it.

I liked Sophie because she was independant and knew what she wanted. She was also loyal to her family and friends. Jul 10, AM. I agree with Carolina. Jul 11, AM. For me it is Callie from Birthright. She was very determined to find her past and dealing of the craziness of deaths and misfortune around the archeological site she is working in.

Jul 13, AM. Anna was probably the one I liked the most. It was great how she was both sensitive and strong. She was a very believable character. Jul 15, PM. I really like Margo from the Dream series. She had to grow a lot from losing her pride and money, to regaining those, only to lose the man she loves. That's when Eve Dallas and Roarke walked on the page. Why do you enjoy writing as J. Robb and revisiting the same characters? I enjoy writing romantic suspense and was intrigued by the idea of adding a little science fiction to the mix.

I could create my own world! I felt that while the toys may change, people remain basically the same. I enjoy that tremendously. How did you come up with the name J. How many more Eve and Roarke books can we expect from you? I have no plans at this time to stop writing about Eve and Roarke. More books are planned for next year. Her books Many of the books you write are part of a larger series.

Do you find it more difficult to write a book that is part of a series? Each book has its own set of challenges. Each book must stand alone and be complete. I enjoy writing connecting books but they are not more challenging than the others. There is a very strong theme of family in your books. Is there a reason for this? Relationships have always played a key role in my books.

I'm fascinated by the dynamics of family, the shared history and the way each individual grows. Do you have a favorite family from your books? My favorite family is the one I'm currently writing about. Do you have a preference? Is one type of book easier to write than another? I enjoy writing different types of books. Have any of your books been made into movies?

They are currently working on a script for The Reef. Her Fans Do you have any male readers? Yes, I have a varied and interesting base of male readers. And since the J.

Robb books were published, that base has expanded. Recently I got a letter from a guy who drives a rig, and habitually listens to my audios when he's on the road.

I love that. I've also seen an increase at my signings of father-daughter readers. I've always had mother-daughter readers, and I love knowing books, my books, are a bond between generations. How would you describe your typical fan. They're not typical! They range from age 13 to great-great grandparents. They bridge all occupations, all income levels, backgrounds and interests. They are extremely loyal.

They take care of me. When I'm on tour, they've been known to bring me French fries, chocolate, Diet Coke and other treats to keep me going while I'm on the road. Why do you think so many fans visit your site? I think a lot has to do with me being so approachable.

I'm on the site, I read and answer my guest book, I'm active on the boards. I've made some wonderful friends this way. And a lot of my readers have formed friendships after meeting at on-line chats. This is how the Noraholics came to be. Who are the Noraholics?

A wonderful group of readers who met on-line back in February of '97 when AOL created a forum for fans to chat about Sanctuary. It was there that the Noraholics, a loyal, devoted group of fans, were born. Many of the people who participated in the chats continued to stay in contact through message boards and e-mail. These new friends shared frequent flyer miles, cashed in inheritances and made plans for road trips! One devoted reader traveled all the way from Australia to be there.

Her free time What do you consider a romantic evening? Any night my husband cooks and I don't have to cook, clean, answer the phone or get dressed up works for me. What kinds of books do you like to read? Who is your favorite author? I love reading across all genres. Mary Stewart will always be one of my all time favorite authors. What do you do to unwind in your free time? Very ordinary, normal things. I love to garden. I enjoy reading in the new library my husband built and I enjoy watching TV and movies.
