Where is torgos bane in wow

Comment by Echtigern To be more precise the scarecrow is at coordinates Comment by Allakhazam Targot Bane is a large scare crow cross thing at the forementioned coordinates. Comment by Allakhazam Soloed as a lvl 70 prot pali. I used one Healing pot. No bubble no lay on hands. It can be done. He isn't an easy fight at this level by any stretch of the imagination, but I did manage to find his weakenss.

If you go straightforward DPS on the guy he will eat your minion in seconds. Dont use curse of agony on him, instead, use curse of weakness and use Demon armor.

Using Fel Armor also means you have to heal your minion more due to lack of Armor, and that means more aggro for you. But I was able to get far enough ahead on heals on my Felguard I was able to drain life him to gain some of it back. Throughout the last part of the fight aggro bounced quite a bit between myself and the felguard, but a combination of health funnel and drain life, I was able to keep both myself and the Felguard alive. Never used a potion of any type during the whole fight, just life tapped myself for mana, health funnel'd the Felguard and when I needed more health, hit him with Drain life.

If aggro is bouncing and immolate wore off, wait till your minion has gotten a better lock on aggro before casting immolate again. If immolate crit's on it's initial hit, that can really make it tough for your minion to regain aggro. Plus the lack of DPS you are doin allows your minion to regain aggro alot faster and build up more hate so that even if it does crit, he will ignore it and keep focused on your minion. During the parts where I used drain life was when i got the most aggro bounces, but just side stepping to break the spell allowed my Felguard to regain aggro.

All in all it was a VERY fun fight. Oh and ALL my gear is from quests that I have done up to the point of this encounter. So not top of the line stuff at all Oh and one further note Recharge and heal as fast as possible, plant the carcass and run back to the cleared area. Fighting right where the scare crow is means you have to clear ALOT of mobs that path into aggro range. To the rear of the scarecrow, only 2 need to be cleared. When he descends, he comes straight for you anyways.

Then just take your time, and grind his health down and you win. He can't be feared and unless he has just a sliver of health left, he can crit for over a crack.

Doin this with a VW instead of a Felguard should follow along the same lines, but you would need alot more care in the health funnels and drain life. A VW doesn't regain aggro as fast as a felguard does at times.

If the VW's taunt spells were just used, it's going to take till they pop again for him to regain aggro, and that may be too long. Hope this helps some WL's get this one done solo style. Comment by Allakhazam Quest location updated. Please let us know if this is incorrect. Comment by Allakhazam Kited him to the camp near by but a guard killed it and then I got "You don't have permission to loot that corpse"..

I guess you need to kite but not get any help of npcs on the kill to loot.. Comment by Allakhazam lol Shaman cant solo. It needs to kill the same mobs that are where Torgos 26,55 is. Comment by Allakhazam Please for the sake of us who don't have the grin coordinates Comment by Allakhazam Pwnd him with Trachela :D Tammed Trachela yesterday.

She's still unruly and lvl 65, but she did the trick. I'm lvl 70, that helps :. Comment by Allakhazam go to 43,52 kill Trachela, it will drop his carcas.

Comment by Allakhazam If you die while killing Torgos, you will have to go kill Trachela again for a new carcas. Tried this solo as a 64 Affliction Lock. Usually able to solo equal elites pretty easy Gonna go take another crack at him I neglected to clear the area the first time and got 2 raven and 2 spirit screecher adds - had to say byebye to the cat and FD. THEN I realize the carcass got used up He's pretty hard. But he'll fight the pet for a few minutes, sap it, and then switch targets, giving you time to mend pet and tank while it heals.

Could've easily gone the other way. If it drops, I recommend camping Trachela and stocking up on at least 2 carcasses so you don't have to go back to her if you die fighting Torgos. Those who claim solo at this level was a breeze, I want some of what you're smoking.

I used my healthstone, but didn't have to use the VW's sacrifice as I intended to. Regular quest and self crafted gear, not even a single instance piece. So long for utterly complicated methods ; Edited, Sep 23rd pm by Morrydwen.

Comment by Allakhazam For BM Hunters, right after you set the carcass down, immediately back away and wait for the green bird Torgos to come down, cast Hunter's Mark, send your pet in and immediately Mend Pet. I kept Aspect of the Viper up the whole time and used no Health or Mana pots. Keep Mend Pet up on all times cause he hits hard. If he comes after you, quickly Mend Pet and then Feign Death. After aggro has been reset, just hammer away till he dies : If you have Intimidation, you can throw that in the beginning to buy yourself some time.

Comment by Allakhazam soloed this easy as 63 feral druid.. Comment by Allakhazam I got sapped early in the fight he got me down to half health before the anything even started. Comment by Allakhazam Coords right on. He's not too bad as long as you have him focusing on your elemental most of the time.

As long as you can blink back and forth long enough for your elemental to regain aggro and ice barrier cd to wear off , you can survive long enough to kill him. I had to use 2 elementals, cold snap, ice block, and one pot to do it.

Comment by Allakhazam Trachela is at 43, Comment by Allakhazam Solo'd him without any problem as lvl 65 shadow priest. Just make sure to keep SW:Pain and Vampiric Touch and, of course, vampiric embrace on him at all times and he goes down pretty easily. Mind flay him continually when shield is up and mindblast otherwise. Comment by Allakhazam solo'd as Holy palf 70 lvl Medium hard.

Easy peasy you say. Yes and No. The co-ordinates for Trachela are 43,51 -ish confirmed - its a small mount with bones on it and she is there flying around looking like a greeny-white giant version of the other bird mobs around there forget their names. Now, I do not know whether a bunch of these ordinary mobs just happened to respawn as I was battling with Trachela or she kinda brings them on. If its just her, then the kill is easy. So if I were you, take care to clear the area before going in mob-handed.

Once she is down, you get the carcass. Oh, one final thing for Hunter's. Beware of this, 'cos your pets DPS will go right down.

The co-ordinates for Torgos are 26,55 again confirmed. Make sure you have the carcass thing on an action bar. When you are next door to Torgos' Bane, "use" the carcass and practically immediately your friendly Torgos appears so watch out. You will know that you have found the Bane cos there is a kinda blue glow coming down from the top bit of it. As other's have said: grind around here for a bit to make sure there are no other mobs around. Torgos is a level 65 Elite other posts didn't seem to go heavy on that little detail!

If you don't get adds, the fight is ok, not a walk over but manageable at Did I mention he has a 5 second sap? And the fight starts with him on top of you so you can't even use your range. GG frost mage. Comment by Allakhazam We didnt have a healer, nor a tank only a 66 mage, 64 rogue and a 64 hunter and a 70 shammy, and we did fine, mage got pwned, but about 10 secs later big ass mutha fuka was downed!

Comment by Allakhazam easy q 67 hunter and 63 warlock killed soulstoned me and we got it done the object torgos' bance is click able u can mouse over it. Comment by Allakhazam Attempted twice. Cleared area around Torgos' Bane both times. Spawned him. Just as he shows up, both times, a random mob runs over and starts attacking me. Died both times. Gave up. Will come back with a group later Comment by Allakhazam Did as a Troll 66 Hunter Bm spec, Warp Stalker pet lvl 66, was easy, didn't take my pet below half life and pet never lsot agro.

Cleared all obs in immediate vicinaty then summoned, pet got agro and used rapid fire. Poped Bestial Wrath about half way through fight, keep mend pet going. Pet has 9. He spawned as 65 elite with hitpoints, avg damage to pet was Comment by Allakhazam Well, he is soloable with warrior. You just need to be alteast lvl 68 protection warrior with variety of elixirs. Soloed him with one add.

Comment by Allakhazam coords were correct if you don't have them Torgos's Bane is a giant skeleton of one of those bird humanoids, biggest one in the area Soloed as a 64 feral druid first try. As soon as I dropped the corpse I shifted to cat, stealthed and he came down. You're immediately put in combat, but if your quick enough you can pounce him before he knocks you out of stealth.

I stayed in cat for half the fight with random shifts to rejuv, regrowth, and lifemend. Combining all these Hots negated his dmg, although he can crit high around ish while in caster form.

Second half I was running low on mana and popped major mana pot and innervated. From there it was normal tank and spank. If I hit half hp I would shift and heal to full. Bash, Barkskin, and Warstomp make this fight manageable. The main thing to worry about this fight is the mob's dps. One of the more challenging elites I've soloed thus far. I didn't try sleeping it, since I heard it was immune to most CC, but I can't confirm it. I also had the dodge trinket on hand but I didn't use it.

Good Luck. Comment by Allakhazam who uses a Voidwalker anymore? Comment by Allakhazam LvL 64 rogue, I solo him! Comment by Allakhazam Does it matter whether you're Aldor or Scryer? I'm aldor, and lvl 67, and he doesn't have the quest for me Comment by Allakhazam I had to bubble-heal once, but a 65 Holy BE pally should have no problems soloing this if they clear the immediate area first.

Comment by Allakhazam Soloed as a lvl 65 mage Summon water elemental Let it get agro Nuke Torgos cold snap, resummon water elemental and kite torgos until elemental dies or despawns and u can pretty much nuke it down after that..

Comment by Allakhazam that takes you to the arrakoa veils, you must have seen Torgos' Bane and perhaps even seen the bird itself. Torgos' Bane is a huge arrakoa statue inside that veil where you fight undead arrakoas and ghost ravens, and you can see Torgos himself flying aroung high in the air, out of reach.

Comment by Allakhazam use all cooldowns 2 times potted and use the dodge trinket Comment by Allakhazam soloed as 64 balance druid. Just don't try to root him, pop the trees and use whatever trinket you got to boost spell damage. Had to drink a healing potion tho. Comment by Allakhazam Thought I'd have trouble soloing him with my 64 hunter after reading all this, but he was surprisingly easy, maybe he was nerfed and I don't know?

Set the pet on aggressive stay in near the big birdie totem, put down the carcass. Came and aggroed on my pet, tossed on a mend and backed up to put up scorpid sting and an aimed shot. He stunned my pet and started coming after me so I shot him a few before feigning and he went back to the pet. Popped Bestial wrath and another mend along with berserking and rapid fire and just kept pounding him down, making sure to keep mend up on the pet.

He died soon thereafter. Comment by Allakhazam apparently there's 2 verions of this guy, one a normal mob, and the other an elite version.

Comment by Allakhazam Solo'd. Comment by Allakhazam u need for summon him Place the carcass, wait till you see it then summon ure WE. Attack it and make sure your pet is attacking too.

You should get the agro with a frostbolt and a fireblast. Blink away cast another frostbolt then iceblock. The bird is gonna go straight back to your pet. Cancel it and start casting again. Just make sure u have some distance with you're pet before iceblocking and It should be really easy. I learned this method from watching the "Solo Archivist" movie by a mage. Check this movie out if you dont understand what I just posted.

Comment by Allakhazam Took me 3 attempts to finally kill this bird. The first 2 I tried to solo. It was cake after that. Comment by Allakhazam He's immune to freeze trap and wingclip. I've tried four times to solo as a 66 hunter with a 64 pet, but I've been unsuccessful. He should be easily kitable, but there are just too many mobs in the area, and I keep picking up adds. The spirit ravens are especially annoying. I think the best bet is to clear a path a few yards to the east, then to the south, then to the west, skirting the outside of the camp.

Then quickly summon him, and kite him. From that point there is a road leading to Nagrand that is clear of mobs for a long way, so you can take your time kiting him, and slowly wearing him down. I'm just not sure I can clear the path, and kite him before the mobs re-pop. It'd be easy if I just picked up somebody, anybody, to help, but I really want to do this one solo for some reason. Comment by Allakhazam Not really soloable by a warrior He doesn't really hit "that" hard, but hard enough and with the dot and his health, it's hard for a warrior.

But take even one other person and it's easily doable. Comment by Allakhazam Trachela: 43, 51 Torgos' Bane: 27, Comment by Allakhazam Tried to solo him at 64 as a shadow priest, but couldnt.

He's immune to fear. Make your way to the southwest of Stonebreaker Hold to the wastes area. You will run into an area filled by multiple carrion birds. There is also Trachela in the center of hill. Pull it away from other mobs, kill and loot Trachela's Carcass. Now you need to move to the west. Open the map and look at the very left PVP tower. Move to the west of it. There is a location named Veil Rhaze.

You need to search for big dark scarecrow. Clear mobs around and use Trachela's Carcass at the scarecrow. Torgos will come. Did you kill him? Is Torgos dead?! You have proof? You have exacted my revenge, and as promised you will be rewarded! Take your pick of one of these and use it well!
